In a bit of amazing late day news, it's been announced that Christopher Lloyd will be joining the cast of the upcoming third season of The Mandalorian on Disney+. The hit television series has been great so far and continues to surprise with amazing casting choices. Well, it looks like the star of Back to the Future, The Search For Spock and numerous other genre entries will be taking up a part of the galaxy far, far away when its next season premieres. The news was just announced less than an hour ago.
A return date for the series has not been solidified by Lucasfilm and Disney quite yet but will see the return of Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Katee Sackhoff and Giancarlo Esposito in their assigned roles. The show has already seen one spin-off, The Book of Boba Fett and there are several other series in the works including the limited Obi-Wan Kenobi event that is coming this May.
