Kaiju films have had a long history with fans all over the globe and across generations. The king of them all is the unrivaled Godzilla. In the 1989 film, Godzilla Vs Biollante, our titans battle for supremacy in one of the more convoluted plots to hold the Godzilla name.
Super 7 TOHO ULTIMATES wave 1 brings these bigger-than-life beasts to the 8-inch scale with Godzilla and Biollante, respectively. Godzilla will come with interchangeable neutral and roaring heads, seven swappable hands, and an alternate neck piece with Biollante’s vine wrapped around it. Godzilla may only be 8 inches tall but with the tail, you get a length of 14 inches. As for ‘ghost daughter rose mutation’ Biollante, you’ll get interchangeable neutral and roaring heads, six articulated attacking vines, two removable vine heads and two battle damaged vine heads, all four with poseable jaws.
Each figure retails for $85 USD, or the full set for $170 USD, and should start shipping in winter of 2022. Online retailers and Super 7 have them up for preorder currently but these figures are made-to-order and will only be available for a limited time. What kind of science do you call this?
