And just like that, the final season of Picard has completed filming. It seems like it was just yesterday that the Star Trek continuation/spin-off series was announced. And today, it was revealed that the third and final set of episodes have officially wrapped filming.
Actress Jeri Ryan tweeted earlier that the show which is currently in its second season has already finished on set production and will move forward to the next stage. For fans of Jean-Luc Picard this may come as a blow because we love the character so much and this may be the final time we see him on screen in new original content.
The show reinvigorated the series and has gained a loyal following since Star Trek: Discovery has had such a divisive response since its first season. Picard brought things back full circle and gave us back a beloved character. It will be sad to see Picard end but maybe its for the best. Perhaps it can conclude on a high note.
And just like that, it’s done.
