This Is Where The Fun Begins: Hayden Christensen Teases More Potential Vader After Kenobi Appearance

Most Star Wars fans are anxiously awaiting the return of Ewan McGregor in the upcoming Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This will be his first time appearing as the Jedi Master since Revenge of the Sith. The new event series will take place after Episode III and will explore his time on the desert planet of Tatooine after the events of the film and will dive into the expanded mythology surrounding the Inquisitors as they hunt down and destroy the last of the Jedi Order. Along with McGregor will be Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Darth Vader. However, there is little known about how big his appearance will be in the short run series. As some still complain about his acting, he will undoubtedly be in the show despite the internet commentary.

Now, Christensen has teased a potential further return for the character when speaking with Total Film. It's probably just a bit of talk but it seems that he's very interested in extending his time as Vader in the Star Wars galaxy. Here's what he said when speaking with the publication:

“When George Lucas had brought me onto the prequels, it was to play Anakin… He gets knighted as Darth Vader towards the end, and for a couple of scenes I get to put the suit on. But my journey with the character was with Anakin Skywalker. But the character? He’s such a complex character. And now, getting to explore the mindset and emotional state of Darth Vader, has been a lot of fun… The extent of the journey, I think, remains to be seen, but what a privilege to get to come back and do this, and to be a part of this project.”

It sounds as if there might be plans to continue as Darth Vader beyond his time on Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obviously, it's all speculation at this point.
