Galactic News: Ewan McGregor Confirms Mary Elizabeth Winstead To Appear on Disney+ Ahsoka Series

With a whole new batch of new Star Wars promo images hitting the web today, it looks like we finally received confirmation about one bit of casting news. We already knew that Disney has been hard at work on their upcoming Ahsoka series and there were earlier rumblings that Mary Elizabeth Winstead had joined the cast of the upcoming project. Well, it's officially been confirmed by Obi-Wan star, Ewan McGregor. The actress that starred in Scott Pilgrim, 10 Cloverfield Lane and tons of others is definitely on board the latest Jedi series from Disney+. When speaking with Vanity Fair, McGregor had this to say:

"My partner, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, is doing that Star Wars series with Rosario, she's about to start. Our little boy has been born into this massive Star Wars family. He will either embrace it or really go the other way. Maybe he'll be a Trekkie."

This serves as official confirmation in a massive publication that just ran a major feature on Star Wars. However, there is still no official word on who she'll be playing with her appearance. It's guessed that the Ahsoka series will pick up after her appearance on Rebels and on The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
