Fear is the Mind Killer: Lea Seydoux Joins the Cast of Dune Part Two

 


Denis Villeneuve's Dune Part Two continues towards production with more casting news. It's been announced today that Lea Seydoux has been cast in the sequel to the hit science fiction film which premiered last year to a mostly positive response from critics and fans alike. Soon after the film was released in cinemas, the sequel was given the green light to move forward by the execs at Warner Bros.. Casting has been underway for a couple months now with Christopher Walken, Austin Butler, and Florence Pugh all joining the cast. 

Seydoux is well known as a Bond girl in several of the Daniel Craig films as well as her lead role in Blue is The Warmest Color. She has recently starred in Crimes of the Future and The French Dispatch. In Dune Part Two, she will be playing Lady Margot. The character is an integral part of the Dune story and was also a central character in the Prelude To Dune stories. 

The film is expected to release in theaters on October 20th, 2023. Denis Villeneuve remains in the directorial chair for the second feature.
