The second part of Denis Villeneuve's Dune has officially wrapped filming after five months of production. It's set to release in theaters on November 3, 2023. It's been filming since June 2022 in Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Italy, and Budapest. The movie will be the closing chapter for the original Dune story but may end up spawning other film projects. There is currently a television series that's being produced by WB and HBO. Actor Timothee Chalamet took to Instagram to celebrate completion of filming on the feature.
Dune: Part Two will pick up directly after the events of the first film and will follow Paul Atreides continued efforts. The sequel will introduce another set of actors including Lea Seydoux, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Austin Butler.
