Galactic News: Star Wars: Visions Volume 2 Gets Release Date and Episode Details

The Star Wars train is not slowing down. Ever since Disney picked up Lucasfilm and all their brands they've been pumping out Star Wars content. With their streaming service such a huge success, they're continuing to offer more and more original televised Star Wars content and animation has been a key part of their catalog of titles. They've recently revealed that a Star Wars Visions Volume 2 is coming and have released some details about the upcoming nine episodes of the animated series on Disney+.

The show will return on May 4th, Star Wars Day 2023 and will continue independent stories set within the galaxy far, far away. There are numerous directors from across the globe that are handling the episodes. The directors and details are: 

  • “Sith” – From El Guiri and writer-director Rodrigo Blaas
  • “Screecher’s Reach” – From Cartoon Saloon and director Paul Young
  • “In the Stars” – From Punkrobot and writer-director Gabriel Osorio
  • “I Am Your Mother” – From Aardman and director Magdalena Osinska
  • “Journey to the Dark Head” – From Studio Mir and director Hyeong Geun Park
  • “The Spy Dancer” – From Studio La Cachette and writer-director Julien Chheng
  • “The Bandits of Golak” – From 88 Pictures and director Ishan Shukla
  • “The Pit” – It is co-directed by writer-executive producer LeAndre Thomas and Justin Ridge from D’art Shtajio and Lucasfilm Ltd.
  • “Aau’s Song” – It is written and directed by Nadia Darries and Daniel Clarke from Triggerfish.
