As one of the best things to come out of Star Wars in recent years, The Mandalorian is preparing for its third season premiere on Disney+ this coming March 1st. In preparation for the upcoming batch of episodes, it's been announced that The Mandalorian will make its first linear appearance to help promote the season. The first episode from season one will be broadcast via simulcast on ABC, Freeform and FX on Friday, February 24th at 8pm EST. Whether or not this drums up more interest in the character remains to be seen but it just might add more subscribers to Disney+ already amazing numbers if it goes as planned.

The Mandalorian season 3 will pick up right after the events of season 2, continuing with Grogu and Din Djarin being reunited. The show from Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni has been a huge hit for the streaming giant and has solidified the televised expansion of Star Wars as a huge success for the Mouse House. Several more Star Wars shows are on the way still with Disney not planning on slowing down at all.

There are numerous movies that are in the planning stages right now, but no real title announcements or details available.
