It's been several years since Alien got the movie treatment. The last entry, Covenant was a critical and box office failure and ultimately put the franchise in cryostasis for years to come, but it will now be revitalized with Fede Alvarez directing a new one off movie that will take place in the Alien universe originally created by Ridley Scott and based on H.R. Geiger's designs.
Considering today is 4/26, the director of the upcoming film has released a first teaser image for the movie. It features a face hugger and a space station set. Currently, little is known about the feature but it is said to be a one off story that won't be a direct sequel to the numerous othoer movies in the franchise. Ridley Scott is on board as a producer.
