After several months of casting and various news stories, it appears that James Gunn's rebooted Superman movie has officially cast its lead players. The film which will see another new version of Supes and Lois has officially brought on David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan to take over the roles in Superman Legacy. The movie is said to exist in a world where metahumans already exist. This will be Gunn's official relaunch of the DCEU after years of troubled releases and a terrible continuity.

After the financial failures of The Flash, WB will definitely be looking towards a future of prosperity if they can finally get their ducks in a row and stop with so much studio toiling and interference. They brought Gunn in to reboot the entire universe and get things back on even footing.

Corenswet recently had a smaller role in the horror film Pearl starring Mia Goth. Brosnahan had a starring role in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and House of Cards.
