Fighting Doesn't Make You A Hero: Wonder Woman 3 Reportedly Not in Active Development at WB

The troubles at WB and DC continue as it's now being reported that Gal Gadot will not be reprising her role as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in a third Wonder Woman movie. With the new relaunched DC film universe from James Gunn getting its supposed fresh start, it looks like Gadot will not be included in the new iteration of the comic book film slate.

Several weeks ago, Gadot stated she had a meeting with Gunn and would remain on in the role. Now, Variety states that this is not true and there are no current plans to include the character in the new slate of films. Their sources state that James Gunn and Peter Safran are not currently working towards any new WW projects other than the Paradise Lost series that will be coming to MAX.

Earlier, Gadot stated as follows:

"I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and what they told me, and I'm quoting, 'You're in the best hands. We're going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you - you've got nothing to worry about."

However, sources have reported to Variety that those promises were not made and there was never any confirmation that Gadot would continue on with the DC Film Universe. Who knows what's going on over there at WB cause they still don't seem to understand what's going on. We'll wait and see because we don't ever want to believe that she was misled about the future of Wonder Woman in the DC film chronology.
