It's been over nine years since Edge of Tomorrow was in theaters and began building up a cult audience. Ever since, there have been rumblings of a sequel to the action science fiction flick. However, nothing has ever come their plans although talks have continued between Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt and director Doug Liman. The discussed sequel had even received a name. Tentatively titled Live Die Repeat Repeat, it looks like one of the stars is fully ready to return to the future world where humans battle the aliens called "Mimics".

Now, co-star Emily Blunt revealed on the Happy Sad Podcast that she is fully ready and waiting for the second movie and that a script exists:

"There was one that Doug Liman kind of slithered over to me. I mean, I would love to make it a reality but I just don't know when or how. And how many Mission Impossibles does he (Cruise) need?", she said jokingly.

With the latest M:I movie not doing so well in theaters, it might be a stretch at this point to see a second Edge of Tomorrow make its way into production. We're still holding out hope though!
