The Alien saga will be getting a new continuation in the form of a book from Titan Books. This latest installment will continue the character of Bishop after the events of Aliens and Alien3. It's well known that he was dismembered in the climactic ending of the second Alien movie but was brought back to life for a few seconds while Ripley was stranded on the prison planet in part three.

This new chapter will see the android return when he is brought back by his creator, Michael Bishop. A brief synopsis of the story for Alien: Bishop:

Massively damaged in Aliens and Alien3, the synthetic Bishop asked to be shut down forever. His creator, Michael Bishop, has other plans. He seeks the Xenomorph knowledge stored in the android's mind and brings Bishop back to life.....but for what reason?

This latest chapter in the Alien saga will be released in a hard cover edition on December 12th and will also be available digitally.
