After more than ten years of development hell and numerous casting issues, it looks like The Crow will fly again in 2024. The remake which stars Bill Skarsgard in the title role will finally take flight next year. This will be a fresh retelling of the James O'Barr gothic action comic that originally saw Brandon Lee in the role. Lee was killed on set during the production of the film. It lead to numerous sequels, most of which were low budget direct to video movies that hampered the series.

This reboot has been toiled with since 2008 and saw Jason Momoa signed on to star as The Crow. However, he left the project and ended up leaving it in flux once again after numerous other issues. Bill Skarsgard will take up the role of Eric Draven in this new iteration of the character that's said to fully tell the origin story all over again.

When the first Crow movie came out it was a huge hit and would have made Brandon Lee a major action star. Now, it'll be interesting to see Skarsgard take over the role. He's been building quite the resume in the last couple years.

The long gestating remake is now expected in 2024 and we're hoping it hits sometime around Halloween.
