It Is Evolution: Gareth Edwards' The Creator To Premiere on Hulu December 20th

After a nearly disastrous run at the box office despite fair reviews, it looks like Gareth Edwards latest science fiction spectacle The Creator will be coming home to Hulu. The film, which struggled to rally in cinemas just received its 4K and blu-ray releases this Tuesday but is now set to make its streaming premiere on Hulu on December 20th as part of their subscription service. 

The futuristic film about humans battling rogue AI is visually engaging but was largely targeted for its derivative script elements. The film stars John David Washington, Ken Watanabe and Allison Janney in a story about a war for survival between artificial intelligence and humankind. While the movie didn't drum up major returns in theaters, its been called one of the most visually arresting films of 2023.

The Creator made a mere $104 million against a budget of $80 million, which is for the most part considered a failure. However, it will continue to drum up interest due to its timely story about AI and its themes about the future. Look for it next week when it hits Hulu.
