Christopher Nolan's brain melting science fiction action film Tenet is making a return to theaters in a limited run starting on February 23rd. It's currently slated to be screened in 70mm, IMAX, 70mm IMAX, and digital theaters and will run for approximately one week. The screenings will include exclusive footage from Denis Villeneuve's Dune: Part Two which releases the following week on March 1st after a few rescheduled theatrical dates. The re-release will also hit several foreign markets.
Tenet was one of the first movies to release in cinemas during the pandemic and was ultimately hampered by that choice. It didn't make the same amount of money as other stateside Nolan hits grossing only $58.5 million in the U.S.. However, the film did go on to rake in about $365 million globally against a production budget of $200 million.
This marks Nolan's first time working with Warner Bros. since his exit from the studio.
